Protein Snack Bites

  • Large mixing bowl

  • Spatula

  • 1 cup of dried oats ( I like old fashioned rolled oats)

  • 2/3 cup of coconut flakes (toasted or untoasted your choice)

  • 1/2 cup of your favorite nut butter ( I use cinnamon almond butter)

  • 1/2 cup ground flax seed

  • 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips

  • 1/3 cup of honey or agave nectar

  • 1 tablespoon of chia seeds

  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

  • (optional) 1 scoop of your favorite protein powder

- Stir all the ingredients together in a large bowl.

- Let chill for 30 minutes in the fridge.

- Once chilled use your hands to roll them into about 1 inch balls.

- Store in an airtight container for up to a week in the fridge.

  • Protein: 4g

  • Carbs: 10g

  • Fats: 3g
